How to calculate the Number of Transit Mixer Required To Cast 1000 Sq. Feet Slab Area having 4″, 5″& 6″ Thickness?

Consider;

Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer (TM) = 6 cum

Area of Slab = 1000 Sq.Ft.

Thickness of Slab (T) = 4″ = 0.34 Feet,

Let’s calculate

Concrete carrying capacity of Transit Mixer = 6 cum.

As we Know that, 1 cum = 35.314 Cft, so

Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer = 6 cum = 6 x 35.314 = 211.884 cft.

How to calculate Number of Transit Mixer required for casting 1000 Sq. Feet Slab Area having 4″  Thickness?

As we Know that; Volume = Length x Breadth x Thickness.

Therefore,

Volume of slab = Area of slab x thickness of slab

                             = 1000 Sq. Ft x 0.34 Ft = 340 Cu. Ft

Number of Transit Mixer = Volume of slab / Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer

                                                = 340 / 211.884 = 1.6 Numbers.

How to calculate the Number of Transit Mixer required for casting 1000 Sq. Feet Slab Area having 5″  Thickness?

Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer (TM) = 6 cum

Area of Slab = 1000 Sq. Ft.

Thickness of Slab (T) = 5″ = 0.42 Feet.

Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer = 6 cum = 6 x 35.314 = 211.884 cft.

As we Know that; Volume = Length x Breadth x Thickness.

Therefore,

Volume of slab = Area of slab x thickness of slab

                             = 1000 Sq. ft x 0.42 Ft = 420 Cu. Ft

Number of Transit Mixer = Volume of slab / Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer

                                                = 420 / 211.884 = 2 Numbers.

How to calculate the Number of Transit Mixer required for casting 1000 Sq. Feet Slab Area having 6″  Thickness?

Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer (TM) = 6 cum

Area of Slab = 1000 Sq. Ft.

Thickness of Slab (T) = 6″ = 0.5 Feet.

Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer = 6 cum = 6 x 35.314 = 211.884 cft.

As we Know that; Volume = Length x Breadth x Thickness.

Therefore,

Volume of slab = Area of slab x thickness of slab

                             = 1000 Sq. ft x 0.5 Ft = 500 Cu. Ft

Number of Transit Mixer = Volume of slab / Concrete carrying capacity of 1 Transit Mixer

                                                = 500 / 211.884 = 2.4 Numbers.

In Short, For 1000 Sq. ft Slab having 4″, 5″ and 6″ thickness required 1.6 Number of Transit Mixer (TM), 2 Transit Mixer, 2.4 Transit Mixer respectively.
